Studio Music: Winter Playlist

winterThis is the first playlist I’ve shared with you and it is a long time coming!  I LOVE music.  It is such a rich part of my education and life and you will rarely find me without a curated playlist crooning from my speakers.

Isn’t it amazing how a song can transform a space into a whole new mood?  We’re great at cranking out Holiday tunes, but what about some good Winter Music?

I love the coziness of these songs and the feeling of sturdy mountain cabins and warm fires they bring into my studio.   Crispy and moody, but so, so cozy.

wintermusicHere is my Winter Music Playlist which can be found on Spotify:

  • Sisters (Andrew Belle)
  • White Winter Hymnal (Birdy)
  • Callow (Novo Amor)
  • Sweater Weather (James Harris)
  • Frozen Pines (Lord Huron)
  • Stars (Alessia Cara)
  • Needn’t Speak (Rudimental + Lianne La Havas)
  • Avalanche (Handsome and Gretyl)
  • Evergreen (Ben Howard)
  • Shape Shifter (Lauren Veirs)
  • Tracks in the Snow (The Civil Wars)
  • Winter Eclipse (Beta Radio)

+ 16 more available on Spotify

Turn it up and start creating!  I’m excited to see what comes to you.

What are your favorite winter songs?

Most days you can find me, in the studio with my little girls, speckled in oil paint (drinking too much coffee), creating artwork for collectors around the world and collaborating with select brands. Check out my artwork on EmilyJeffords.com

  • Hi Emily,

Thank you so much for the lovely winter treat! Using it in my workroom and love it!!

Your blog is just beautiful – it is an inspiration for being more creative with my blog; thingsunderstood.wordpress.com and in the studio with printing and chine colle. I so enjoy reading about your painting and how you inspire you daughters as well.

    Have a great new week!
