Hey everyone!
Obviously, owls have completely taken over our current art and design theme with a pretty big impact. Owls are so powerful, and yet, somehow adorable and sweet. But I have to admit, I was a little extra excited to find these drawings by Vincent van Gogh and Albrecht Durer! Somehow it felt like validation that our art scene is on a good path. I mean, these guys are the real deal! They’re called master for a reason!
So draw away, owl lovers. You’re in good company.

These are four of my personal “owl” faves by four outstanding artists and designers.
What about you? What is your favorite thing to draw or create?
The weekend is almost here and I hope you have some lovely plans! This weekend, we’re going to an art + handmade show (as shoppers this time!!) and just relaxing. It’s been a busy, busy month and we’re all in need of a little down time together. I hope you have a lovely weekend!

Ah such beautiful pictures. I’ve wondered about the fascination with owls too. I think what sets them apart and what makes the so enchanting are their giant eyes in the front of their head instead of on the sides, and their flat faces. Great post! 🙂
