Hello! I don’t know about you, but I needed some visual refreshment today. Just some nice cool, calm images with stunning design and lovely colors…
I have come to the conclusion that summertime is most certainly not restful! It’s so hot, busy, and exciting! And while I am a huge fan of the “colors of summer,” lemon yellow and bright pink can get to be a bit much when everything around you is drenched in sunshine for months and months. Do you agree?
So here is a small breath of fresh air…
1. A stunning necklace from the butterfly collection designed and created by Heather Torre | 2. Susan Dwyer of Up In the Air Somewhere shop created this white “Cutaway Dish” $42 | 3. Loving the shadows and abstract patterns in this “Eiffel Tower Shadow” photographed by Lupen Grainne | 4. “Half Full or Half Empty?” photographed and designed by Misty and Kaila of Third Arrow For My Heart shop $18
I love this! I totally agree that sometimes it is needed to take a break from the “typical” colors of summer. There are so many other colors and palettes that work well for this time of year too!

I do agree. After too much sunlight or too much exposure to the aforementioned colors I begin to have a sensation of pressure like my visual cortex is in the oven.
