A quick glance around my painting portfolio and you’re probably going to figure out that I’m kind of in love with flowers. …So if you would like to send me some, I won’t say no!

I’m planning several oil paintings that I’m pretty excited about! To help me arrange the composition I took a few shots and added the frames. This way, I can visualize it, and, hopefully, avoid a ton of drawing + redrawing!

These paintings are extra awesome because they’re not painted on canvas! I stretched rustic linen and herringbone print material (remember those?) to act as my canvas and covered the fabric in clear gesso (brilliant stuff!). I’m beyond excited to see how these little lovelies turn out!

And, now, I’ll be getting back to work!
