I was so excited to revisit the work of Ekaterina Koroleva and see some amazing new pieces and a display of her work in Urban Outfitters! How cool is that? I featured Ekaterina’s work back when this blog was a baby, and many of you may not have seen it (which of course, had to change!!) If you are in Berlin, please stop by Urban Outfitters to see these beauties in person!
Ekaterina Koroleva’s mixed media illustrations are stunning, unique, and glamorous. Each piece holds so much drama and character… beautiful. I love the abstract shapes and delicate lines she incorporates into her work, making them so very intricate and yet, graphic and simple.
Check out the post I did last year featuring Ekaterina’s work, and stop by her website and “like” her facebook page to see more stunning illustrations!
This may sound strange, but I can’t get over the little watercolor “pebble” shapes at the bottom of this piece! I never would have thought of adding those, but I love them so very much.
