I was, honestly, feeling very uninspired today. I guess I’m just worn out from all the crazy fun times my sister and I had for the past few days… Thankfully, I know exactly how to fix my “artist block”: Black and white designs with lots of contrast and perfect composition… I can’t resist and they work every time. These pieces are perfect examples!
What is your creative fix?
1. Forest Photography by Jetty Kolobaric | 2. F5 logo designed by Ross Clodfelter | 3. Winter White hand printed napkins by Pat of Giardino| 4. “Come Away With Us” fine art print by Lauren Gray of The Haunted Hollow Tree

Beautiful images certainly help you get back in the swing of it. I also like to read old books on art–they make me wish I was doing it, and are full of loads of outlandish practical advice that makes you want to experiment again. Or go for a bike ride with a sketchbook! x

I love the Haunted Hollow Tree piece. I was just looking at B&W photos of people online this morning! I love the way B&W forces you to really look at their faces, since you are not distracted by colors. This made me think that I need to take some myself with my new camera. (Now, if I can just figure out how to do that!)
