There are few things in this world that are more beautiful than Paris (or so I am told)… then Paris as depicted in masterful watercolors full of color and depth? Yes. Beautiful. There is so much depth and warmth, along with stunning detail and realism.
I especially love the watercolor painting of the Eiffel Tower. Something about the suggestion of the silhouette of such a magnificent form is just so Beautiful.
These were painted by Theirry Duval; a very skilled and prolific artist from France. He spends some of his time photographing Paris so he can study and understand the poetic realism of the city, then translates that look and feel into his painting. The result is just beautiful!
Oh boy, I would so love to hop on a plane and join him!
What beautiful photography! I miss my days in Europe and this only makes me want to go back 😀
