Painting Well is a shop run by a highly talented anonymous artist who donates 100% of her profits to cancer research.  Isn’t that amazing!  All we know about her is that she has been painting very successfully for many years, has a BA and Masters in fine art, and has taught in Fine Arts Departments at several colleges.  I have admired the painting of Painting Well since early in my Etsy infatuation.   The skies are particularly wonderful.  The artist uses so many variations and subtle brush strokes that she is able to catch all the varying and subtle details, without it looking too much like a photograph.  I also love her use of color.  So expressive.  You can find these paintings, as well as many more on her Etsy shop.
