My dear friend and cousin met at our wedding on May 31st 2008 wedding.  They were both in our wedding party, and hit it off right away.  And today, I designed the save-the-date card for their up-coming wedding.   Of course, I would like to take full credit for their happiness… (maybe my husband and I should take the first dance?  Ha!)  They’re a wonderful couple and I’m so, so happy for them!

I must admit I had a hard time conceptualizing this design.  I’m not sure why it was so hard for me, but I worked through it, and love the result!  It’s a little bit formal, it’s a little bit rock star, it has touches of glam, and a lot of character.  I am not sure which I like better: the wording at an angle, or the more traditional layout. What do you think?
