Wedding Day Planning: How to make a day even more magical

Hello everyone!

This time of year is so very exciting… brides are planning all the wedding details, bakers are prepping, florists are dreaming up new color schemes, and dresses are being fitted.  Isn’t it amazing that one day can cause such crazy commotion?  If you are a bride-to-be you should check out Wedding Site.  My goodness, I wish I had known about this site while planning my wedding!  They make each step so easy!

Ok, full disclosure, I actually created a fake wedding using all of their awesome tools, just because it was kind of fun putting all the details together, even though they were totally dreamed up (that, and the random day I picked happened to be a Monday!  Not the most romantic of days.)

I completely loved my wedding day.  It was magical and picture perfect.  I felt like a princess and got to marry the man of my dreams!
However, if I were planning a wedding today, there are a couple (minor) things I think I would change:

1. Same groom,  FOR SURE.  (Dan, you’re mine forever and ever and I couldn’t be more happy!)

2. balloon decorations!  How beautiful and fun are these?

3. Chocolate trays.  trays and trays of truffles………  Oh my lands! (and put them under a pretty dome for added heavenly-ness!  as seen here.)

4. letterpress invitations.  I designed my own invites (I kinda had to, now didn’t I?) but I wish, in hindsight, I had them letterpress rather than digitally printed.
5. extra sparkles.  I wore my mother’s earrings and my late-grandmother’s necklace, and I will always treasure that, but my goodness, this bracelet is stunning!  And just look at that dress!

6. Even more flowers. One for each place at the tables.  I so love succulents!
