DIY Little Flag Banner: Because every day is exciting

October 16, 2012

Hello everyone!

Today’s post is all about jazzing up a space in your home with a little (super easy) diy flag banner.  I’m pretty sure I could find a spot for a string of these flags in every room in my home…  they’re so whimsical and happy, and don’t take up a lot of visual space; just enough to add a pop of detail and interest.   I think Mr. Moose is a fan.

I used fabric, cheese cloth, handmade paper, and washi tape to make the little flags, but you can use anything at all.  Cut up an old shirt if you have to!

In case you had any questions about how to actually make this cutie pie banner, my wonderful husband took the time to photograph each step for you!   Ya, I married a great guy.

If you have any questions, just ask in the comments section.  I’ll answer asap!

And there you have it!

How adorable and easy is that?  This would be the cutest addition to a birthday party, wedding, or shower decor!  Change up the colors and make one for the holidays!

Feel free to share and pin away!
