Ugmonk: Branding the “&”
Ok, so I have to admit, I’m a sucker for a well designed ampersand. I mean what other symbol gives you as much instant (and still meaningful) swoop and swirl and style? Apparently, Jeff Sheldon feels the same way because he has devoted a good bit of time and love to this little guy; making an under-utilized (in my opinion) symbol into a big deal.
Jeff and I went to college together and I remember thinking, even waaay back then (and, no, it wasn’t that long ago) what an outstanding designer he was (and is!). He utilizes simple, clean shapes, making them impactful and exciting. Jeff had his act together, had a clear vision for Ugmonk, and was able to launch the apparel and product company soon after graduation.
Yesterday, Ugmonk took another step towards totally awesome with the introduction of the new Premium apparel line! I wish I could feel these shirts in person! I know Jeff had high standards for his (also awesome) line of t-shirts, so if he’s calling these babies premium, them must feel like a little bit of heaven!
Check out all the items and products for sale in the Ugmonk shop and be sure to carve out a bit of time to read the blog as well. Jeff is generous with photos, design tips, and behind the scenes excitement.
