Oh, the Written Word… Molly Jaques

There are few things more elegant than handwritten, scrolling, swashing, stylish script… and the calligraphy of Molly Jacques is no exception.  It’s unique, thoughtful, and whimsically graceful.

Molly lives in Michigan with her husband (who is a painter!), designing custom wedding and special event invitations as well as freelance design and calligraphy.  She is very involved in the Michigan wedding scene, working closely with each bride to create something perfect.  Molly recently was a part of a really fun project called The Wedding Party, an amazing event curated by Viva La Diva Events, showcasing the best of the best vendors in the mitten state.

Molly Jacques transforms what most people see as text into moving lines and shapes, giving the letters personality and emotions, and composition to each line.
